Mary Kroner is an expert in insect bioassay development and screening. With over 20 years of experience in Ag and Ag Biotech research, Kroner is helping AgBiome develop insecticidal trait & microbial solutions for growers as a Research Scientist. Prior to joining AgBiome, Kroner was an entomologist at Athenix, developing hemipteran insect bioassays and screening across lepidopteran, coleopteran, dipteran and hemipteran pests for insecticidal traits. Kroner has held positions at Paradigm Genetics, Syngenta and Rhône-Poulenc Ag Company. A life long learner, innovator, idea & people connector, humanist and proponent & practitioner of positive encouragement, she engages with all cylinders firing. Kroner has many interests including sustainable agriculture, medicinal plants and beneficial insects. Mary Kroner holds a Master of Crop Science degree from North Carolina State University with a minor in Statistics and a Bachelor of Science degree in Life Sciences from Penn State University.
