Tyson Bowen is a Molecular Biologist/Biochemist with AgBiome. Prior to joining AgBiome, Tyson worked at Pacific Biosciences as a Scientist on their enzymology team doing protein engineering and sample preparation research.
Tyson completed his undergraduate work in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology at the University of Colorado-Boulder studying alternative splicing of mRNA, and obtained his MA in Biochemistry, Cellular, and Molecular Biology from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine where he studied the non-specific protein-DNA interactions of APOBEC3G.
Tyson is thrilled to be working at AgBiome and applying his expertise in protein and DNA to the company. In his free time, Tyson enjoys downhill skiing, cooking, and spending time with his family.
