Mr. Rabby attended Mississippi State University where he received his BS degree in Entomology and MA degree in Integrated Pest Management. He joined American Cyanamid as a field agriculturalist in January 1980 focused on agricultural product field development. Mr. Rabby moved to business development in 1985 working on the imidazolinone chemistry. In 1988 he took over the Specialty Products business unit for American Cyanamid. In 1990 Mr. Rabby moved to the Business Directors role overseeing the grass herbicide and insecticide business units. After American Cyanamid’s purchase of Shell International Agrochemical Division in 1994, Mr. Rabby was named Vice President of the International Division responsible for Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa. In 1999 he returned to the US as VP and General Manager of North America for American Cyanamid. In 2000 with the purchase of American Cyanamid by BASF He was named Group Vice President for BASF Agricultural North America division based in RTP, NC. In 2003 Mr. Rabby joined Makhteshim Agan North America as CEO and President of their North American Business Unit and a global director on their executive board.
In 2010 he formed a RELLC, which and is actively involved in global agricultural projects. He is the current president of RELLC.
He is has served as president of CPDA (Chemical Producers and Distributors Association) and also several years on CLA’s (Crop Life America) executive board. He is a current board member of SePRO Inc., NC Biotechnology Center and a board advisory to several other global agricultural based companies.
He is married and has three children and resides in Wake Forest, NC.
