Jill is a plant biologist with experience in Ag biotechnology, plant cell biology, biochemistry, and molecular biology. Prior to joining AgBiome, Jill worked at BASF for 11 years leading research discovery teams focused on delivering new traits and products for herbicide tolerance in corn, soybean, sunflower, rice, and oilseed rape, and also for the improved nutritional quality of corn via phytate reduction and improved amino acid composition. Jill has a B.S. and M.S. degree in Nutrition Science from Purdue University, and a Ph.D. in Plant Physiology from North Carolina State University.
