Chad is an Insect Pathologist and Entomologist at AgBiome. As an undergraduate he became fascinated by the idea that naturally occurring microbes could be used to improve agriculture and control important pests. This interest led him to obtain a M.S. from Utah State University and a Ph.D. from the University of Copenhagen in Insect Pathology. He has extensive experience isolating insect pathogens, characterizing their tolerance to abiotic and biotic stresses and running assays in laboratory, greenhouse and field conditions.
In his spare time, he enjoys exploring new areas and pursuing life’s adventures with his wife and three children.
